Maison Albera is dedicated to crafting elegant, high-altitude wines that capture the freshness and authenticity of Roussillon. By embracing native grape varieties, sustainable farming, and minimal intervention, the Rieu brothers produce wines that reflect both their Catalan heritage and the unique mountain terroir.

The vineyards are located on high-altitude plateaus overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the Roussillon plain, at elevations exceeding 500 metres. Granite and quartz soils, cooler temperatures, generous rainfall, and long, slow ripening create wines with remarkable freshness, natural minerality, and vibrant aromatics.

Founded in 2001, Maison Albera is a family-owned winery established by brothers Fabrice and Alexandre Rieu, whose roots trace back to Spanish Catalonia. Driven by a passion for Roussillon's native grape varieties and high-altitude viticulture, they have built a reputation for producing fresh, expressive wines that showcase one of southern France's most distinctive wine regions.
