Teperberg Winery combines more than 150 years of family winemaking heritage with a forward-thinking approach to viticulture and wine production. Guided by a commitment to quality, innovation, and authenticity, the winery creates expressive wines that showcase the diversity of Israel's growing regions. Through meticulous vineyard selection, modern technology, and thoughtful winemaking, Teperberg strives to produce wines that balance tradition, elegance, and contemporary craftsmanship.

Terroir

Located in the Judean Hills near Tzora, Teperberg Winery benefits from the distinctive Mediterranean conditions of central Israel. The surrounding landscape features rolling hills, limestone-rich soils, warm summers, and cooler evenings that encourage balanced grape development. The winery also sources grapes from selected vineyards across Israel, including higher-elevation growing areas where variations in altitude, soil composition, and microclimate contribute complexity and freshness. Varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc thrive in these conditions, producing wines with concentrated fruit, vibrant aromatics, and refined structure.

About the Winery

Founded in 1870 by Avraham Teperberg, Teperberg Winery is one of Israel's oldest family-owned wineries, with a winemaking legacy spanning five generations. Originally established in Jerusalem, the winery has evolved from a small family operation into a prominent producer of premium Israeli wines. Today, the winery is led by Moti Teperberg, a fifth-generation member of the founding family, who has played a central role in its modernization and expansion. In 2006, Teperberg relocated to its modern production facility near Tzora, at the foothills of the Judean Hills, allowing the winery to combine advanced winemaking technology with its longstanding traditions. Its portfolio includes the acclaimed Legacy, Essence, Inspire, and Vision collections, offering a diverse range of wines that reflect Israel's evolving wine culture. With its rich history, family ownership, and commitment to quality, Teperberg continues to represent an important part of Israeli winemaking heritage.
