For more than 140 years, Rioja Vega has been dedicated to producing wines that faithfully express the diversity of Rioja's vineyards. By combining time-honoured winemaking traditions with modern innovation and sustainable vineyard management, every wine reflects the elegance, authenticity, and character of its terroir.

The winery is located near Logroño, between the Ebro River and the Sierra de Cantabria, surrounded by more than 70 hectares of estate vineyards. Poor soils, varying elevations, and an Atlantic-influenced climate create ideal conditions for Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, and other native varieties, producing wines with freshness, structure, and exceptional depth.

Founded in 1882 by visionary winemaker Felipe Ugalde, Bodega Rioja Vega is one of Rioja's most historic wineries and one of only a handful permitted to include "Rioja" in its brand name, having existed before the creation of the Rioja Denomination of Origin. Today, the winery continues its legacy from its modern estate near Logroño, where traditional craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology, and a deep respect for the land come together to produce premium wines that showcase the true identity of Rioja.
