Situated on a high plateau in the Uco Valley of Argentina’s Mendoza region, Portillo (meaning “path” or “gateway”) produces quality wines for everyday enjoyment.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested at night when temperatures are much cooler than during the day. This ensures the fresh fruit flavours are retained. The grapes were cold macerated for up to 6 hours prior to fermentation.
The wine shows off the delightful aromas of grapefruit, tropical fruit and white peaches. The palate is refreshing, crisp and filled with tantalizing lychee, mango and pineapple fruit flavours.
