Situated on a high plateau in the Uco Valley of Argentina’s Mendoza region, Portillo (meaning “path” or “gateway”) produces quality wines for everyday enjoyment.
Hand-harvested then transferred to stainless steel tanks for a cold maceration, followed by a 7–10 day fermentation.
A purple plum colour with an elegant aroma of fresh ripe cherries, strawberries and blackberries. The palate is filled with red cherry and strawberry flavours. Soft tannins and a round finish of light spice notes make this a very versatile and delicious wine.
