Hand-harvested and bunch selected, the grapes were fermented in 7,000 litre oak casks, followed by oak aging.
Intense and robust, the blend is predominately Malbec along with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for extra richness and complexity. The colour is deep ruby with an impressive bouquet of dried fruit, licorice and almonds. The palate is equally impressive with complex flavours of rich black fruit, toast and peppercorn notes wrapped about firm tannins. The finish entices with coffee, toast, chocolate and licorice.
