This cava was named for a French oenologist and heroine of the Resistance in WWII. Made from a blend of Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada and Chardonnay grapes. The Chardonnay was aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of 3 months. After secondary fermentation the wine was aged for a minimum of 20 – 30 months in the cellar.
Light straw colour with a note of apricot and yellow apples and a touch of mineral notes. Wonderful bubbles, medium-bodied with light acidity, zesty lemon and a hint of baked apples.
