A few years ago the Bodega discovered a true treasure in the Valley of Nekeas—Garnacha vines more than 60 years old. The bunches were small and extremely loose, well aired, with small fruit. There were grafted onto other vines and that’s how the wine got its name “Cepa por Cepa”, meaning “vine by vine”.
The Garnacha grapes were cold soak mascerated and after fermentation, underwent malolactic fermentation.
This 100% Garnacha wine is fruit driven and loads of ripe red fruit on the palate.
