The name Alpha Crucis comes from the brightest star in the Southern Cross constellation—the most conspicuous star formation visible from the southern hemisphere. Alpha Crucis wines aspire to be the best and brightest wines from the McLaren Vale vineyards. These wines are only produced in years of outstanding quality and varietal integrity.
Produced from Fiano, a southern Italian white grape variety, this wine was fermented in stainless steel with 10–15% fermented in barrel. Medium yellow colour, this is a very aromatic wine of stone fruit, herbal notes and a delicate perfumed nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied and dry with juicy fruit and a crisp finish.
