Before the world took notice of Zinfandel as anything but a little known cousin to sickly sweet pink wine, there was Italian Primitivo. And Puglia is the capitol of the grape. Racemi pays homage to the success of the California-branded, Italian born varietal with juicy bomb loaded with chocolate, blackberry and cooking spice notes.

Felline Primitivo Consignment

Named Best in Class and 90 points at the 2011 Los Angeles International Wine Competition, this Primitive di Manduria defines the grape. Tremendous depth, almost opaque in colour, Felline offers up dark cocoa notes with wild raspberries, all spice, and crisp firm tannins.
